The Foundation undertook a major venture in 2001 when it opened Masterson Place near the hospital. Thanks to a sizable donation from the Masterson family of Casper, the Foundation was able to purchase a Best Western Motel, allowing out-of-town patients and families a comfortable place to stay while receiving specialty medical care in Casper.

Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of death in our young people. We also know that low-income individuals are at greater risk of injury than the rest of the population. To decrease those numbers, the Foundation offers SAFE KIDS of Central Wyoming, which provides leadership for a diverse coalition of community leaders who distribute valuable safety information and safety equipment throughout the entire community.
